The Joker: importance of mental illness on screens near you

The psychological thriller "The Joker", directed by Joy Bhattacharya and his team, is set to release on March 5. Soumitra Chatterjee will be seen for the last time in this film, as a truth seeker.





Covid has taken a lot out of our lives. It has removed many valuable personalities from the world of cinema. Soumitra Chatterjee was such an outstanding personality and equally saddening that we will never see him again. But there is still some outstanding work to be done. One of those works is "The Joker". For the last time, we will see Soumitra Chatterjee as a truth seeker.



The film is set to release on March 5 in various theaters in Kolkata. Apart from Soumitra Chatterjee, many more actors and actresses will be seen in this film. Aman Reza, Vivek Roy, Sangyukta Roy, Kohima Basu, Mau Vaidya, Bhaswati Sengupta,
Archisman Singh, Dilraj, Arab Saha, Jayanta Parbat, Pranjal Sarkar, Joy Bose, Subhash Pachisia, Kankan Kar, Khushi Khatun, Sanchari Chatterjee,
Himika Patra, Sion Biswas, Pramukh etc. The film has music by Sumit Roy, song by Saptaparni Basu. The film
ie Edited by Arindam Gain, while Anitesh was in charge of background music, Ranjit Mandal was in charge of camera along with Shuvendu Saha, Uday and Sunny Bhattacharya. This is the first picture under the banner of "Sunny Entertainment".




The film was shot in Mandarmoni, Kolkata and various places in North Bengal. Director and writer Joy Bhattacharya hopes that the thrilling psychological thriller will make its place in the minds of all the viewers. Producer Sunny Bhattacharya regrets not being able to release the film a year ago, as Soumitra Chatterjee himself might have been present at the premiere a year ago.
