The 45th International Kolkata Book Fair, 2021, is being organized keeping all the COVID-19 protocols in focus. The theme would be based on Bangladesh, celebrating the Golden Jubilee year of Independance in Bangladesh as well as celebrating the Birth Centenary of Banga bandhu- Sheikh Mujibar Rahman.
The three main book fair arranged this year and the details are given below.
1. 5th February to 14th February will witness the Baranagar Boi Utsab with the support of Baranagar Municipality at the Sinthee Circus Maidan.
2. 21st February, the International Mother Language Day will come with the EKUSHE BHASHA UTSAB organized by the PUBLISHERS AND BOOKSELLERS GUILD.
3. 15th April will bring to you the Nababarsha Boi Utsab organised on the Bengali New Year or Nababarsha at College Square and College Street Boi Para.
4. July 2021 will set up another book fair at the Central Park Mela Ground, Salt Lake.
Every occasion is going to make sure that the PUBLISHERS, BOOKSELLERS and EDITORS OF LITTLE MAGAZINE are present for you to interact with.
Eminent personalities like Soumitra Chatterjee, Pranab Mukherjee, Anisujjaman, Debesh Roy, Nimai Bhattacharya, Manabendra Bandyopadhyay, Alokeranjan Dasgupta, Swapan Mazumdar and others who left us to the eternal journey of after live, would be paid homage to them at the International Kolkata Book Fair 2021.
