The havoc of COVID-19 pandemic is getting gruesome day by day in India. On Friday, more than three lakh cases of COVID-19 infection were registered for the second consecutive day in the country. According to Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 3,32,730 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in India during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infected in the country to 1,62,63,695. Whereas 2,263 patients died across the country in a single day. With this, the total number of people who lost their lives due to COVID-19 has increased to 1,86,920. Currently, treatment of 24,28,616 COVID-19 patients is underway across the country.
