Trinamool leader Chhatradhar Mahato was arrested and is being taken to court:

Trinamool leader Chhatradhar Mahato was arrested by NIA soon after the polling ended in Jangalmahal.  About 40 NIA members arrested him from his house in Lalgarh in Jhargram early last night.

 According to NIA sources, he did not cooperate when he was called for multiple investigations.  According to ANI sources, Chhatradhar Mahato was summoned for questioning on the 16th, 18th and 22nd of this month for which he did not appear.  He was summoned again on the 26th of this week.  The NIA has longed since they had taken charge of the two cases of attempted sabotage of the Rajdhani Express in 2009, and the murder of CPM leader Prabir Mahato in Lalgarh.  As a result, the investigators want to remove the question of student Dhar Mahato again.  After that, Chhatradhar Mahato was taken into custody and approached by the Calcutta High Court. The investigators in the Chief Justice's Division Bench rejected the NIA's plea.  Bankshal Court has been moved to, some time back.
