Abhishek's sister-in-law to be cross examined by CBI

News desk: The CBI has sent a notice to Trinamool Youth Congress president Abhishek Banerjee's house in connection with the coal smuggling case. 

At around 2 pm on Sunday, CBI detectives went to Abhishek's house at 16 Harish Mukherjee Road with a notice in the name of his wife Rujira Banerjee. The CBI did not receive any reply against the notice till 11 pm. The CBI also issued notice to Rujira's sister Monica Gambhir. Today, on Monday, the CBI may cross-examine her as a witness. It is learned that although no reply has been received from Abhishek's wife, his sister-in-law Monica Gambhir has informed the CBI that she will be at home on Monday. Detectives may come to interrogate her.
