Jorasanko to be molded to the World Court

Vivek Gupta, a former Rajya Sabha MP and Trinamool Congress candidate in the Jorasanko assembly, confronted reporters with the election manifesto at a function at the Calcutta Press Club on Saturday.

 He said Jorasanko is a meeting place of mixed culture. People of different religions live here. He told a press conference that he was trying to connect Jorasanko with the tourism culture. He added that four proposals are already coming up. He said there are a total of 2.5 lakh voters in 11 wards of the Jorasanko assembly. This Jorasanko will be molded as a model to take the name of the poet to the world court. Ward 36 President Priyal Chowdhury, Tapan Kumar Ghosh and others were present at the press conference.
